Scholarship Award Program
How do I qualify?
Qualifying candidates must be an active member or an immediate family member of an active member of the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (VAIAAI). The member must be in good standing with VAIAAI. An active member of the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators may apply for themselves, his/her child, stepchild, spouse or grandchild. The candidate must be enrolled in an accredited school or institution or learning or trade school. Proof of current enrollment or acceptance to the school must accompany the application.
How is the Award paid?
Awards to the selected candidates will be paid jointly to the candidate and the education facility in which they are enrolled.
How do I apply?
All applications for the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Scholarship Fund Award must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee, completed in full with the accompanying documentation by September 15th. Award recipients will be announced at the Annual meeting of the Virginia Chapter held in October.
